Recipe adapted from Taste of BBQ
1 1/4 C. Apple Sauce
2 C. Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp. Molasses
6 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
1 1/2 Tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1 Tsp. Pepper
1/2 Tsp. Salt
2 Cloves Garlic, minced
1/2 Tsp. Paprika
1/8 Tsp. Cayenne
1/4 Tsp. Dried Chilies
2 Tbsp. Cornstarch
~Combine all ingredients (except cornstarch) together in a medium saucepan and whisk until smooth.
~Bring mixture to a boil and continue to whisk, then reduce to medium heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
~Whisk in cornstarch and bring back to a boil, continuing to whisk
~As soon as sauce thickens, remove from heat.
